PHILOSOPHY
Since its foundation, the College has encouraged its pupils to strive for excellence and has sought to provide a friendly, stimulating environment in which every girl can prepare happily and responsibly for adult life. The College has been recognised by the British Council for its international dimension and has always welcomed pupils from several nationalities.

LOCATION AND FACILITIES
The College is located in a quiet residential area of South Belfast, on two attractive campuses. Its excellent facilities include two Technology centres, two sports halls, an indoor swimming pool, a music and drama centre, two good libraries and generous indoor and outdoor provision for sport.

ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
The College provides a balanced, enriched programme of studies based on the Common Curriculum and offering a range of additional optional subjects. Most pupils remain until A level, proceeding after school to higher education at Universities throughout the United Kingdom. Achievement is high in all subject areas, including Technology, the three Sciences and five Modern Languages, including Japanese.

LEISURE PURSUITS
All pupils engage in a wide variety of sports and recreational activities, including many clubs within school, participation in social and cultural events in the wider community, and travel to Southern Ireland, Britain, Europe and beyond on school trips and exchanges.
